'till pop

The upcoming shows has been done, and there ware only a few people drinking...and I'd love to hear that. Actually, the shows has started when I came, and Alongside the Quay played the last two songs before ended up their performance with a magnificant rapper MC (yes, it was real MC!) trash the music up. Gnarly. Lame for me, I forgot to take any photograph of AtQ.

So, I take a seat on rightside of the stage and start capture the performers, The Dolphines which reminds me of Stone Roses. But unfortunately, I asked myself why they didn't play "I am the Resurrection" or might be "Ten Storey Love Song"?







Right away after The Dolphines ended Stone Roses up, the host start to yelled the name I have been waiting for, The Sweaters which is accompanied with the addition player, Acum (Bangkutaman). Sweaters really kick my ass, they do my heart apart with an anxiety, the sounds of hopelessness and thoughtful lyrics of being abandoned yet the shoegaze itself! They gaze the floor and watch their own shoes the whole time they deserved. And they surprised me with a cover song of Pure Saturday's "Desire". Awesome...

Ruangmaya came after. I have seen them in the very middle of February on Fallentine, and they did good hence I am quite curious of how they keep the performance up. Sampling music without a drum set, Lintang behind his laptop and a touchbutton of i-don't-know-what-was-that. Oh, Ruangmaya did a cover version of The Cure-Trust and for a brief moment, I thought they did a cover of Homogenic's song, but yea Homogenic did the same cover version of The Cure's song too. I love you more than I can say/ Why don't you trust in me?...











then Sugarspin...











...thought I'm felt 'till pop' enough, I am not satisfied because I lost my chance to puke my beating heart to watch Ballads of the Cliches, Bangkutaman, and even The Monophones. But I've got to back to architecture campus and start run the model again...G.O.D.S.P.E.E.D

Another wasted night, I just realize my most personal pleasure recently. It's all started after Corel Draw let me down with the lame colour, the color doesn't work well after exporting the file into JPEG format to be specific. And coloring with sotopop never been better, hence I found myself started loving sotopop. Fallen love? Definetely yes....

Speaks about personal pleasures, after made a "goodnight, sleep well..." call to Andy. I am not taking a preparation for bed, but enjoy my own self and start a conversation with the computer, of how the computer shows me the color, then how I agree or refuse it. Accompanied with Colin Meloy of The Decemberist, Colin Meloy sings Morrissey which is free to be downloaded and definetely legal. Here is the link...

The routine of not being asleep mostly 2 hours before the dawn's light come down guaranteed me to wide awake on 06.30 o'clock. Honestly, I am feel ashamed of it and it was quite shitty. The blankets still covered me while the whole family has done the morning routine. I hope for the next day and so on, I can take a more and more earlier wake up.

The title of the image was inspired by the Death Cab For Cutie's Death of an Interior Decorator song. There is a line that I always remember, it said can you tell me you have been so sad? and I think the line representated the image itself.

Heaven Sent

Hmmm...an evening, after put my sister into an english course, I go ahead to masjid kampus UGM right away. Not only because it has been a long time I'm not visiting there, but also an intention to 'say hi to God', indeed. Actually, there was a repairment of the big (very big, indeed) circular lamp hover inside the mosque. The repairment with a machinery tools create a beautiful splash of falling lights, like a fireworks, and that was quite beautiful. Here is...





I like the detail of the ornament and how the ornament absorb light...



The ornaments help a lot to frame the two people, though there were another people too. And yes they definetely not making out!



There were two plastic cup, along with the mineral water galoon. It is free for anyone to overcome the thirst with a fresh water, the excistence of fresh water makes me feel deserved.

A tiny little news I've heard from Dojihatori's recent bulletins makes me excited, worried, and exhilarated. An upcoming indiepop gigs for the next saturday, 14 July 2007 will include a gorgeous band I've been waiting for. The Sweaters, which is a very very special band for me, is going to spread an anxiety, and it's gonna a worth to wait....

And yes, I do hope the pattern of 'galau' will broom there

So, a week and a couple day ago I was asked by a far-related sister to photograph her brother "khitanan". I'm not sure if she allow me to upload any picture of her family, hence what I have to do is a simple that any other photographs could representated the show.
